MES Integration Scope

Company & Technical Team · Remote & on-site

Demo listing for prototype demonstration only. Not a real commercial offer.

Scope

Scoping of an MES integration for one production area: requirements mapping, interface plan (OPC-UA / REST API), traceability data model and a commissioning scope the client can put out for quotation.

Exclusions

  • Software licences, MES configuration and go-live support (quoted separately after clarification)
  • Changes to PLC programs or machine controls
  • Network hardware and IT infrastructure

Deliverables

  • Requirements map with priorities and open questions
  • Interface plan (OPC-UA · REST API) with data-point list
  • Commissioning scope with acceptance tests and responsibilities

Acceptance criteria

  • Every requirement traces to a machine, system or role named by the client
  • Interface plan lists each data point with source, frequency and owner
  • Commissioning scope reviewed with the client in one walkthrough

Required inputs

  • Machine list with controller types and existing connectivity
  • Current production, quality and planning workflows
  • Existing systems in use (ERP, planning, quality)

Prerequisites

  • A client contact for production and one for IT
  • Site visit or remote access agreed for the current-state review

Options — packages with genuinely different deliverables

Remote scoping

Requirements map and interface plan from remote workshops.

Base scope

Scoping + site assessment

Adds an on-site current-state assessment of machines and networks.

Scope + duration change

Scoping + pilot interface

Adds one pilot machine interface as proof of the plan.

Scope + inputs + price change

Duration

Quotation after clarification — typically 2 to 4 weeks for one production area (demo value)

Commercial terms

Quotation after clarification. Pricing depends on the number of machines and systems; the proposal states scope, exclusions, assumptions, validity and a cost breakdown.

Included revisions

One revision of the interface plan after the client's review. Additional production areas are a separate scope.

Confidentiality & file use

Workflow documents and machine data are used only for this scoping and shared with the named team. NDA on request.

MODULE 01

Factory Readiness Assessment

Start with a short factory profile, then place your factory on the ladder one capability at a time — plain-language statements, no numbers to estimate. Free gives you the three audited questions per capability; Professional adds depth, notes and evidence, source-bound recommendations and the Industrial Passport record. You get where you are, the next achievable state, your target and the first practical action. The assessment starts neutral: nothing is pre-filled unless you press “Load demo data”.

🏭 Factory profile step 0 · who you are + what you actually measure
Which of these do you actually measure? pick “Unknown” freely — honesty beats guessing
“Measured” = you have records · “Estimate” = your best guess · “Unknown” = we won't invent it. ROI quality follows data quality.
A simple path: 1) choose the capability you want to develop, then 2) answer the practical questions — select the statement that sounds like your factory, or skip what you don't know. We translate the choices in the background and show where you are, what's next, your target and the first practical action.
Each completed capability gives an immediate focused result. Complete all 8 for the full InduNv Readiness Index — your data answers set the honesty confidence, and nothing is assumed from the demo company.
📷 Visual Shop-Floor Scan optional · AI reads your photos and identifies capabilities to review — photos never answer the assessment for you AI not connected yet · guided
Drag factory photos here, or
Up to 4 images · guided mode keeps them 100% in your browser · live-AI mode transmits them to the configured AI endpoint only after you approve the privacy notice
Dual-engine · The platform gives AI-assisted recommendations, backed by a transparent readiness-scoring model. If the network is unavailable during a pitch, the transparent model runs the full flow with identical structure — no black box, no single point of failure.
Not a certification · INDUNV-FRA 1.0 is INDUNV's own readiness model — an indicative assessment that shows where a factory stands and what to do next. It is not an accredited audit and issues no certificate. Every capability, question and statement is INDUNV's own wording, written for this platform.

MODULE 07

INDUNV Factory Readiness Assessment — the model

INDUNV-FRA 1.0 is INDUNV's own instrument: eight capabilities in three pillars, six descriptive stages, and one transparent formula. It is an indicative pre-assessment that shows where a factory stands and what to do next. It is not an accredited audit and issues no certificate.

Capabilities and pillars

Technology · Process · Organisation

Shop-floor connectivity, Data & intelligence and Automation form the Technology pillar; Operations integration, Quality management and Maintenance maturity the Process pillar; Talent readiness and Strategy & governance the Organisation pillar.

Weights: Technology 0.40 · Process 0.35 · Organisation 0.25.
A → F

Six stages

Unseen · Written down · On screen · Joined up · Ahead of the fault · Runs itself

Every question offers six descriptive statements — no numbers to estimate. The factory picks the one that sounds like its floor, or skips what it does not know. A skipped answer is excluded and lowers confidence; it is never guessed.

Stage per capability: round(0.8 × average + 0.2 × lowest) over the scored answers.
IRI

InduNv Readiness Index

A weighted composite with a weakest-pillar drag

IRI = 0.75 × the pillar-weighted average + 0.25 × the weakest pillar, on a 0–5 scale. A separate floor level applies the strict rule that every pillar must reach a level before it counts. Confidence is honesty-gated: it follows what was measured, what was estimated and what was skipped.

Form 1.0-S (Free, three questions per capability) or 1.0-F (Professional depth) is stamped on every result.
sig

One identity, four states

Answer signature · Industrial Passport record

Every result carries an answer signature computed by one function from the answers and skips only — notes and evidence sit outside it. The passport record moves through four states: current readiness → planned uplift → observed uplift after reassessment → independently verified uplift. A purchase is recorded and never touches the score.

Recommendations are source-bound: platform records only, never an invented match.
Why our own model · Formal maturity programmes are powerful — and heavyweight by design: scheduled multi-day on-site engagements with certified assessors. INDUNV-FRA 1.0 is the fast, honest front door: a factory can place itself on the ladder in minutes, see its first practical action, and build evidence on the platform before any formal engagement. When a factory later wants a formal audit, its INDUNV passport and evidence trail travel with it.
METHOD

Why the numbers hold up

Scoring = one transparent formula

Every stage, weight and gate is published above and computed in the browser — nothing hidden, nothing borrowed. The same numbers can be recomputed by hand from your answers.

ROI = benchmarks

Downtime, scrap and cost effects use published ranges — McKinsey (downtime −30–50%) and the Deloitte Analytics Institute (breakdowns −70%, maintenance cost −25%) — applied conservatively to the factory's own figures, with assumptions shown and editable, in three scenarios.

Market = real

~400M SMEs exist worldwide, ≈90% of all firms (World Bank, SME Finance). The SME manufacturing-operations-management software segment was US$6.69B in 2024, ~21.4% CAGR to 2033 (Grand View Research, Horizon). The wedge: enterprise platforms are priced for giants — SMEs are underserved.

Prioritisation = gap-to-ambition logic · Good transformation programmes don't conclude "buy the most technology" — they rank a short list of priority dimensions by weighing gap-to-ambition against company pain relevance. Navigator applies the same direction × focus logic at solution level — and gates it by data readiness.
